Howie is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He may have hyperthyroidism, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. This resilient boy has been through a lot-he lived happily with both big and small dogs, and even kids, until his beloved owner passed away. Afterward, he spent some time at a cat sanctuary, but it just wasn’t the right fit for him. Now he’s ready for a new chapter in a loving home.
Howie is affectionate, social, and loves spending time with his people. He’ll happily be your buddy for cozy evenings and will bring warmth and comfort into your life. He’s best suited as the only cat in the home (he can’t resist picking on others if given the chance), but he has experience with dogs and children and could thrive in a home where he gets to be the star.
If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and resilient companion who’s ready to start fresh, Howie might just be your perfect match.
